Activity based Tech Fest 2010 Summer Camp:

Learn about creativity, innovation and technology.

Summer Camp is an educational initiative aimed at the discovery of interaction design:

"How to design new ways of dialogue between man and technology? "

 Every day we relate to technological objects Mechanics, Electronics, Robotics.  Interaction Design wants to deal with these interactions and has the aim of making them simple, pleasurable and fun to use.

Methodology and instruments

Summer Camp adopts the motto of “learning by doing”, a didactic model based on practical experimentation rather than just theoretical explanations. The participants will work in a group of 3-4 people and each group will have a tutor, and a project theme to develop through out the ten days of activities. The professor and the tutor will help a group of students to:

  • Conceive and design a new product or service for the future
  • Build a prototype of the product or of the service
  • Set up an exhibition of the produced prototypes

    • For the whole length of the Summer Camp, participants will be able to understand the home appliance/PC safe working conditions. All activities are carried out within a intranet environment which allows continuous access to Internet

  • Age Range             : 8-14 years
  • Timing: Morning     : Batch-1: 9.30am - 11.30am, Batch-2: 12pm - 2pm, Batch-3: 2.30pm - 4.30pm
